The ½ day Orange River Canoe or Rafting adventure is something to experience and never to be forgotten. Whether you are starting your Namibian vacation or finishing it, it is an amazing experience. This half day Orange River canoe adventure on the majestic river is available all year round. You will enjoy a fun and exciting drift down the river. It is the perfect way to start or end your journey in Namibia, as our camp is only 10km’s away from the Noordoewer border.
The price includes, half day rafting, 1 night camping at our base camp, rafting equipment, guides, transport to starting point and 3 meals.
In addition to receiving a safety talk and demonstration of the ins and outs of rafting, you will paddle down the river and cool off in the river. Besides your safety, scrumptious meals and our professional guides, your river rafting adventure will leave you with a lasting impression of Africa’s magic.

There is no permanent accommodation set up on the riverbanks, you will need to bring your camping gear for the nights on the river.

The discount amount will be divided among all confirmed participants. Once discount is allocated late joiners will not be eligible for the discount.
We have a few set dates for our ½-day rafting adventure, scheduled occasionally during the year. These trips are pre-set and open to individual bookings—no minimum group size required. Click the link below to view available dates:

Prefer custom dates? Let us know your ideal dates, and if the dates are available, we will book your group in with your chosen dates.
For this option, a minimum of 4 participants is required, and bookings must be made at least 2 months in advance.
If you want your group to be exclusive/private, a minimum of 8 people is required out of season, and 20 people in season.
To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit of R 1000 per person is required.
The balance of the tour fare must be paid no later than three (3) weeks prior to the arrival date; otherwise, the Company may treat the booking as cancelled by the Client. Please mail proof of payment to info@bundi.co.za

We have 2 half day trip options for you to choose between. Please see which trip suites your needs best.
Arrival day:
Arrive at our base camp any time after 16:00. Our camp is situated just across the Namibian border. Our camp manager will be there to welcome you. You may want to take a refreshing swim or play a game of volleyball after your day of travelling. Supper is served at 7pm. We start getting to know each other around the campfire.
Day on river & departure:
After an early breakfast, your guide will give you a safety talk and equipment demonstration. Here they will teach and show you how to paddle, what to do if you capsize and how to be safe when in a rapid. Before you go onto the river, you can fill your cooler box with ice and your refreshments. We will then transport you to the starting point. You will spend the morning drifting and getting the hang of paddling whilst enjoying the natural beauty surrounding you!
Your end point will be at the base camp where you will enjoy lunch before departing.

Arrive at our base camp no later than 11:00. Our camp is situated just across the Namibian border. Our camp manager will be there to welcome you. You will enjoy a hearty lunch before your guide gives you a safety talk and equipment demonstration. Here they will teach and show you how to paddle, what to do if you capsize and how to be safe when in a rapid. Before you go onto the river, you can fill your cooler box with ice and your refreshments. We will then transport you to the starting point.
You will spend the afternoon driftingand getting the hang of paddling whilst enjoying the natural beauty surrounding you!
Your end point will be at the base camp where you will enjoy supper and overnight.

For your rafting adventure, we offer the following accommodation options:
You camp with your own gear for the nights on the river, but should you wish to not pitch your tent on our green lawns for your first and last evening with us at our camp, we have lovely chalets available to which you can upgrade. Availability is dependent on the dates you choose.
Please complete the rafting booking form and indicate on the booking form if you would like to upgrade to Chalet accommodation for the first and last night at the camp.
This package is available to the ones in your group who does not want to bring their own camping gear for the evenings on the river and who also prefers to stay in a chalet for the first and last evening at our camp. Availability is dependent on the dates you choose.
All gear will be provided to you on the arrival day and will be available until your return to the base camp. All camping gear will be transported upon your own rafts -guides will not transfer any gear. Pitching of tents and camping gear will be your own responsibility. This is the basic camping gear requirements for on the river. If you require any additional gear, you will have to bring it along.
