About the Position:

Strong customer relationships are built through personalized experiences, consistent communication and service delivery. A good food & beverage manger, here in the south, can ensure the operational aspects within our establishment, such as resort, bar and expedition rafting experience are ensuring guest satisfaction.
We are seeking an experienced person or couple to be based, at our camp in Noordoewer Namibia to contribute to the our offering set for Bundi River Rafters.
It is a live in, full-time position, and the key requirements are planning and follow through performance. Stamina, strong organisational ability with various culture groups with a lead by example attitude. A person with a can do approach.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Manager with food & beverage -> Adventure Camp & resort (no restaurant)
- CRM and resource planning regarding:
- Meeting and greeting of customer
- Ordering supplies for various rafting groups that are simultaneously on tour towards various multi day destinations
- Menu design/altering around various products in-out of season or not available
- Maintaining quality standard
- Understand the various dietary laws for Halaal, Kosher, vegan etc.
- Gardens and Grounds appeal to the customer
Requirements
- Namibian Citizen (non-negotiable)
- Drivers license
- Must be good with logistical planning (proven track record)
- Documented proof or reference
Advantages to have:
- Valid PDP
- Effective at crisis management and good at making instant decisions.
- Good communication skills in English & Afrikaans
- Good organizational and logistical skills
- Effective at managing and training staff
- Tourism experience
- Good knowledge on the following:
- Logistics & supply chain
- Some bush/guide knowledge
