Do the Orange River rafting trip and end it with our big New Year’s Party on the 31st, depart 1 January. This is the perfect way to end off your year. You’ve done the work, now it is time to relax and welcome the New Year in with our 4 days 5 Nights New Year’s Bash Orange River Rafting excursion. Our section runs through the scenic Richtersveld in Southern Namibia.
The NY Bash on the Orange River is one of the best New Year Parties to celebrate the New Year. Having the chance to make new friends or to cement the relationships with existing friends is the best part. We have had many clients, with different friends, return each year to experience our New Year Party on the Orange River. For this reason, it has become known as one of the best places to celebrate the New Year.
Your trip will include beautiful scenery, friendly guides, exciting rapids, full catering from the arrival evening until the departure morning, and a New Year’s Party that will set the mood for the New Year on the 31st. A New Year’s as you have never experienced before. Your river rafting adventure will leave you with a lasting impression of Africa’s magic.
4 DAYS / 5 NIGHTS RAFTING
You can arrive at camp any time during the day of the 27th of December 2023. Supper will be served around 7pm. A packing speech as how to pack your clothing, equipment and accessories follow after supper.
Breakfast is served from 7-8am. Normally people pack their crocs and all equipment in it between 8-9am. At 9am a safety talk follows as to how to be safe on river, after which we depart on river.
Your tour on river is from the 28th of December to the 31st of December 2023. We transport you back to base camp for a nice evening supper. After a good rest, you depart after breakfast on the 1st of January 2024.

OUR BASE CAMP
Our base camp is located on the river banks of the Orange River in Richtersveld, about 8 km from Noordoewer. Our base camp is 680km’s due north from Cape Town and 1300km’s from Johannesburg. Click here to find out more about the driving directions to get to our base camp.
